In early 2011, photographer Niall McDiarmid began the Crossing Paths project, taking portraits of people he met as he travelled across Britain. In the three years since,he has photographed more than 800 people, travelled over 50,000 miles and stopped at more than 120 towns right across England, Scotland and Wales. After a temporary break he is back on the road continuing his addiction to document the people of the UK.

A book of the project was published in November 2013and can be purchased here http://crossing-paths.co.uk/book.php

This film gives an insight into the project and Niall’s process of working.
